I'd rather drive a few more miles and work with the very nice people here than deal with the rude people in the downtown Ithaca post office.
This is the classic local post office, polite helpful people bell at the counter because they are multitasking, always have a suggestion for the best service and cost for your posting. Mail people are in the back sorting but never to busy to help.
Staffers are always helpful when I walk in the door, and the postman is a gem — always a smile and a friendly wave when he stops.
